About Operational Excellence
Operational Excellence Transfer offers knowledge in the field of Reliability-centered Maintenance (RCM2). The goal is that a company can use, independently, RCM to optimize the reliability of its technical systems to improve the maintenance costs per unit of product or service and lower profit margins and / or increase market share within the parameters of safety, environment and sustainability.
Operational Excellence Transfer is part of The Aladon Network, a network of licensees RCM2 companies worldwide that supports the application of Reliability-centered Maintenance. It’s customer base in the Netherlands include Du Pont de Nemours, Netherlands Esso, ExxonMobil Chemical Holland, Dutch Gasunie, Nuon Energy, SABIC Innovative Plastics, SCA Packaging De Hoop, Netherlands Urenco and Yara Sluiskil.

Notable Facts: Jos ter Brake started his career as a consultant, supporting sales and implementation of software for developing expert systems.
In 1987 he helped market, sell and implement software to manage the maintenance of physical assets (Rapier/R5/MP5). By 1993 Jos got promoted to Manager Consultancy and became responsible for the team of consultants supporting the software sales and implementation.
In 1995 Jos was certified in the capacity of “Practitioner for Reliability-centred Maintenance (RCM2)” by the late John Moubray. Jos assisted in setting up license agreements between Aladon and SQL Systems for The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Latin America, Sweden and the US.
In 2001 Jos left Datastream Systems to start his own company, Operational Excellence Transfer.
Jos ter Brake has a degree (M.Sc.) in chemical engineering from Twente University and a degree (Ph.D.) in physics and mathematics from State University Leiden.
