Notable Facts: After receiving his mechanical engineering degree at Lisbon University of Engineering (IST), Costa Quintas became well known in his career when he started working at Mobil Oil as Chief Engineer. It was here that he launched unique industrial marketing tools such as MI/DAC (Management Information for Decision and Control) and a diesel diagnosis centre for fleets.
Costa Quintas also worked as a consultant for Partex, in the oil and gas industries in United Arab Emirates, working closely with Shell, Total and Mobil. He was also the Managing Director of Engigás (maintenance services) and PA Consulting in Portugal.
Costa Quintas is a certified RCM2 Practitioner and principal of The Aladon Network for Portugal, mentored by the late John Moubray, pioneer of RCM2. He has lead several projects of industrial organization and is a well known speaker in seminars on maintenance in Portugal.
